Introducing the Cinder: a gravel bike with progressive forward geometry and a set of features that make it at home on a huge variety of terrain. Named after the volcanic surface seen on some of our local back roads, the Cinder is made for climbing efficiently and descending with confidence. Key features of this design are a long front center, high trail, a short stem, and a dropper post. You'll feel more confident descending on drop bars than you thought possible. That little singletrack shortcut? Go ahead, take it.
The way the bike is sized allows you to make this design fit like your current favorite bike, but it will ride like a Scharen. Using a series of measurements you take from your own bike, or a professional bike fitting, I will dial in the variable dimensions to fit the bike to you.
Fixed geometry elements: chain stay length, seat tube angle, head tube angle
Custom geometry elements: reach, seat tube length, head tube length
